Hair Gel

  • 2 Tbsp flax seed
  • 1 1/4 Cups water
  • Few drops essential oil

Put seeds & water in saucepan and bring to a boil.  Remove from heat and let sit covered for 15 to 20 minutes.  Strain through hand held sieve and allow to cool completely.  Add essential oils when cool.  Put in glass container to store.  Makes about 3/4 cup.

Just put on hair as you would store bought gel.  It would not seem as if this would work, but it does and will not leave the hair heavy or built up.
