About Teas

Tea does contain some caffeine, depending on type and how long it is brewed, but the amount is typically one-third of the caffeine in a cup of coffee. Black tea tends to have more caffeine than green tea. Also, when brewing green tea, if you soak the leaves a second time and discard the first "liquor," most of the caffeine is eliminated entirely.
